A Little Holiday Tarot Cheer

I spent the last eight months making you a present. I can't wait for you to open it!

Hi folks. I know I’ve been quiet.

It’s not that I didn’t want to talk to you. I’ve been really busy. Building all the things.

I actually finished what I was making for you in October. But I’ve spent most of my time since then pondering the perfect way to tell you about it.

Instead of just telling you about it.

Resistance is a bitch.

I still have these moments where it gets the best of me. But then I wake up and tell it to step aside, because it’s time for my creativity to shine.

Let’s Begin at the Beginning

Many of you have been with me since the beginning.

Traveling with me through multiple incarnations of Falken’s Labyrinth and/or Contemplating Resonance.

Several of you met me through a little Google Sheet template that I made back in 2024.

Shortly after I began my tarot journey, I started a daily pull practice. I recorded each day’s pair of cards in a journal. As I looked at each month’s list of pulls, I started to notice patterns. Repetitive cards. Many cards from the same two suits. Many cards with correspondences to the number FOUR or the planet JUPITER.

I did what any engineer would do - I made a spreadsheet. Then I was able to write formulae and create charts to make these patterns plainly visible. The template for this spreadsheet became something I offered for free to my tarot clients. Many folks loved it and have used it for YEARS.

Eventually I hit the limits of what I could do with a spreadsheet, and I decided to really put on my engineer’s hat (did I mention I’ve been writing software for most of my life?) and create an app. A weekend spent building a very basic prototype and sending it off to friends resulted in a long list of “TAKE MY MONEY” responses. TarotPulse was born.

Thus began six months of coding, coding, coding and testing, testing, testing. As well as forming a business container for the app, RitualSync LLC, with my business partner Jaye Anne Beringer.

On October 31, in celebration of Blessed Samhain, we launched.

What Exactly IS TarotPulse?

TarotPulse’s purpose is to record your tarot readings and then provide ongoing analytical insights, revealing the patterns that exist over time, and allowing you to make meaning not only from individual readings, but also from those patterns.
